Cook Policy LLC is proud to announce that on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, the Frederick County Board of Supervisors unanimously reappointed our founder, Lucas Cook, to a four-year term representing the Shawnee Magisterial District on the Historic Resources Advisory Board.
Mr. Cook will continue serving as chairman of the Historic Resources Advisory Board, where he remains committed to preserving Frederick County’s rich history, protecting its historic and cultural resources, and providing thoughtful guidance to the Board of Supervisors on matters affecting the county’s historic heritage.

Today, Cook Policy LLC proudly joins Americans across the nation in celebrating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America. It is an honor to witness this historic milestone in the life of our constitutional democratic republic.
On this Independence Day, we pause to give thanks to the generations of Americans who have defended our freedoms and liberties. We honor the brave Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Coast Guardsmen, Guardians, and all those who have worn the uniform of our nation, as well as the settlers and patriots whose courage helped establish this great country. We remember with gratitude those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States over the past 250 years.
As we commemorate America’s Semiquincentennial, we pray that Almighty God will continue to bless our nation with peace, prosperity, and liberty for generations to come.

Founded on the principles of community engagement, public service, and strategic advocacy, Cook Policy LLC seeks to help businesses, organizations, and community stakeholders navigate policy challenges, strengthen relationships with government leaders, and support initiatives that promote economic opportunity and local growth.
